The Arts Tower – a landmark of both the University of Sheffield and the skyline of the city in which it sits. Designed by 'Gollins, Melvin, Ward & Partners' the Arts Tower still remains the tallest university building in the UK since its opening in 1966, and contains one of the last surviving Paternoster lifts in Europe. It is also home to the Sheffield School of Architecture.

Contact cards

Laser etched and cut from 1mm board, the cards feature a perforated-circular design. The holder is made up of glued laser cut layers and features a gap in the top right for easy pickup of a card. Each card takes approximately five minutes to etch and cut. Typographical design was achieved in collaboration with John Chia. The telephone number displayed below is a placeholder number.

Piano stool

A bespoke adjustable piano stool with sheet music storage. The project was underpinned by initial research and consultations with the client. The stool features a cantilever design constructed from plywood and 3mm laser cut aluminium and finished with a tan leather cushion. Sheet music storage consists of two drawers.
